A chef at Brasserie Pastis in Rosmalen found a pearl about four millimetres wide while opening oysters. The pearl was kept chilled while the brasserie considered having it assessed by a jeweller or keeping it.

The brasserie said it was the second such find there: a guest took home a pearl found in an oyster five or six years earlier. The oysters are supplied via a fish supplier from Ireland.
