Rico Verhoeven said he had accepted an offer to box former heavyweight world champion Deontay Wilder on 11 December in Cardiff, on the undercard of Tyson Fury's fight with Anthony Joshua. The Dutch fighter said he wants to remain active in boxing and that the bout would not be the main event. The fight is not yet confirmed, as no agreement has been reached with Wilder's camp and final details remain to be settled.
