Labour Inspectorate findings on temporary workers’ safety

The Labour Inspectorate found, after research and an inspection project involving temporary-employment agencies and the companies using temporary workers, that the parties often had not agreed who was responsible for those workers’ health and safety at the workplace. Responsibility was not always clear for personal protective equipment, instruction, supervision and access to health care.
