Flemish poet and cultural politician Jozef Deleu was editor-in-chief of the magazine Het Liegend Rabijn, where he provided a platform for talented poets. He advocated what he called “the whole Dutch-language area” and its culture, language and literature, but rejected speaking of “the” Dutch culture.
