Jinte Grotehedde, a 16-year-old from Deventer, said that many people do not know her condition exists. She used to enjoy the adrenaline of hanging from the trapeze in a circus hall, but now uses a wheelchair. She said she now falls away five times a day, compared with five times an hour previously, which she considers progress.
