A video involving a Gazan student at Maastricht University had previously been translated by various media as saying “This is me.” Arabic anthropologist, researcher and specialist translator Rahma Bavelaar said the student was instead speaking in a Gazan Arabic dialect and that the phrase was innocuous, best translated as “Take me outside.”
