Bus driver Chaim Ben-Arye, 58, helped evacuate survivors from the area affected by the October 7 attack for several days. After returning home from one of the trips, he began to cry and told his wife, Irit, that he had been unable to help them. He had seen damaged cars and mutilated bodies, as well as children and babies who had been left silent by the trauma.
