A 37-year-old man from Zwolle is suspected of attempting to kill a woman in Zwolle, reportedly with a box cutter or screwdriver. The woman had ended their relationship and was said to fear for her life after receiving threats, including one suggesting that he could cause her to wake up with a blood clot in her mouth. Prosecutors reportedly believe he could kill her and sought a treatment order under which he would be detained in a psychiatric facility.
