The 22-year-old Zoë de Bruijn works as a second officer for KLM. Her father, Michèl, sometimes sits beside her in the cockpit, while her mother, Marjan, works as a cabin attendant for the airline. Their work occasionally brings the three of them together on flights around the world.

De Bruijn said she meets her parents not only at home but also while flying at high altitude, where she addresses them as her parents on board.
