Wouter de Zwart of Volkspartij Dongen resigned with immediate effect as an alderman in Dongen after concluding that the role did not suit him. He informed the municipal council of his decision.

De Zwart had taken office on 4 June and was responsible for spatial planning, housing, the environment, culture and business operations. The municipal executive thanked him for the cooperation and said it will ensure that ongoing matters are removed from his portfolio.
