A 78-year-old woman from Apeldoorn died after falling near an escalator at the Santafia Christmas show at an Intratuin garden centre in Duiven. She was injured on Thursday afternoon and her death was announced the following day.

Police are investigating the incident. It remains unclear what caused the fall.
