WHO calls for action on climate-related health impacts

The World Health Organization (WHO) called on countries to take action to reduce or prevent the effects of climate change on health. In a report published a few days before the UN Climate Summit in Antalya, it outlined six climate-and-health action packages.

The WHO said that implementing the packages worldwide could save around 1.6 million lives each year.
