VO Council response to proposed national school phone rule

◆2 sources

The VO Council said a national standard requiring pupils to leave phones at home or in a locker throughout the school day would add little to existing policy, because most secondary schools already have such a rule. It said school boards and leaders should ultimately decide which phone policy suits their school. A later report criticised the VO Council’s response, arguing that it did not adequately address social media addiction.
