A court announced that the seven caregivers on trial over possible fatal negligence in Diego Maradona’s death will receive their verdict on 22 December, after 51 hearings. Maradona’s eldest daughter, Dalma, addressed the judges in tears at the conclusion of the trial.

The verdict date is the latest reported status of the case.
