Sale of three former Peter Gillis holiday parks

6 sources

Three former Peter Gillis holiday parks were sold after creditor Marc van Rooi accepted the highest bids in a forced auction, following checks on the bidders. The parks were Prinsenmeer in Ommel, Brugse Heide in Valkenswaard and Stadsresort Valkenburg. The sales raised €27.3 million; the auction followed a reported debt of more than €27 million owed by Gillis to Van Rooi. Molecaten became the owner of Stadsresort Valkenburg for €3.55 million. A single report said that French holiday company Capfun bought Prinsenmeer for €20.6 million. One report said the three parks were sold to three different buyers.
