The municipality of Utrecht maintained its decision to end funding for Architecture Centre AORTA from 2028. A meeting between the municipality and the centre did not change the decision, and efforts to find alternative funding have so far produced no results. The future of the Rietveld Prize and Architecture Day is therefore uncertain.
