Reduction of contrast agent residues near Winterswijk hospital

A trial at the Queen Beatrix Regional Hospital (SKB) in Winterswijk was followed by an 83 percent reduction in contrast-agent residues in nearby streams and locks compared with two years earlier, according to research by the Rijn en IJssel Water Board. Patients who received the contrast agent used special bags to urinate after their examination.
