After three years in parliament, two MPs aged 28 and 33 were reportedly the most experienced members of the parliamentary traffic committee. They were involved in decisions on the Lelyline, a rail connection that has been under discussion for more than 150 years and is not expected to be completed before 2045 at the earliest.
The situation was described as reflecting the rapid turnover in The Hague politics.
