An explosive went off on a parked car on the Martijnlaan in Eindhoven on Wednesday morning, according to the account. The car belonged to Antony’s late mother. The device probably consisted of a Cobra firework and a plastic bottle filled with gasoline. Antony said he had distanced himself from a group of people he considered a bad influence about six months earlier and believed he was being targeted because of that. He said the attack was especially painful because of the car’s connection to his mother. Two Eindhoven men, aged 28 and 30, were arrested on Wednesday in connection with the explosion. Police are investigating whether they were also involved in an earlier explosion in Antony’s backyard. The investigation is ongoing.
