Supermarkets in Twenterand have applied for an exemption from a planned Sunday ban on loading and unloading. The ban is intended to strengthen Sunday rest and resulted from a new municipal coalition that includes the SGP. It remains uncertain whether the shopkeepers will receive the exemption.
