TVC Breda secured the first-period title in the fifth-tier C division after drawing 2–2 with PCP in a city derby. The title appeared to be slipping away, but Mick van den Broek scored in the 94th minute to earn the draw that was enough. TVC Breda had previously moved clear after beating DHV and Alblasserdam dropped points, and the team had already been assured of a place in the post-season playoffs.

TVC Breda’s ambition extends beyond the period title: attacker Wimano Holzken said the team wants to return to the fourth tier. The team is coached by Peter Romie.
