Romy W. appeared before the court in Ghent over her alleged involvement in the kidnapping and death of four-year-old Dean Verberckmoes. Dean disappeared after being taken from Beveren by Dave De K., a friend of his mother, and was found dead under a blanket at Neeltje Jans in Zeeland on 17 January 2022.
