Trial over alleged sexual acts with a horse in Oss

Prosecutors sought a one-month prison sentence and 80 hours of community service for a 26-year-old man from Oss accused of sexual acts with a horse at a riding stable in Oss in September 2024. The horse’s owner found him naked in a stable, after which he dressed and fled. The prosecution cited DNA traces on the horse, the animal being covered in oil, and camera footage as evidence.

The man was absent from the hearing. His lawyer requested acquittal on the allegation involving the horse, arguing that it had not been proven and questioning how samples were collected. He also faced allegations of damaging two cars less than a day later. The court is due to rule in two weeks.
