Four men in their twenties from Groningen appeared before a court in Roermond over suspected bank help-desk fraud. A Limburg police investigation linked them to fraud affecting 30, mainly older, victims, who transferred more than €300,000 in total.

Prosecutors sought prison sentences of four to four and a half years.
