A tree fell onto a moving car on Anne Frankstraat in central Amsterdam on Friday afternoon. The car had one occupant, who was initially reported trapped, and firefighters and other emergency services were deployed; a trauma helicopter also landed nearby.

A later report said the driver was uninjured and able to walk, and that firefighters did not need to intervene on the tree. It remained unclear whether wind caused the tree to fall.
