Police issued 31 tickets during a traffic check targeting fatbikes and scooters at several locations in Lelystad. The operation began near St Jansdal Hospital and later moved to the area around the station, with checks also carried out in the city centre.

The most common violations involved vehicles not approved for road use, defective brakes and running red lights. Tickets were also issued for using a mobile phone while cycling.
