Police and the IRS carried out a traffic check around Hengelo on Tuesday. Eleven vehicles were seized, €43,000 in outstanding bills was collected and 56 mobile fines were issued, according to the account. Hengelo is also investigating flat charging cables that could lie tightly across the road; the city already has cable gutters and is considering this newer charging method for electric cars.
