Tine Beun-Hermans, 58, has multiple system atrophy, a rare brain disease that resembles Parkinson’s disease but is distinct from it. She said she sometimes has to explain the condition even to caregivers. She is expected to die from the disease and wants to inform as many people as possible about it before then.
