Theo Schelle, 76, from Geffen built 35 miniature Efteling castles and houses over more than 25 years, all at a scale of 1:25. He has been looking for a new owner for the collection for three years because he wants to get rid of it, but had previously been unable to find anyone willing to take it all, even for free.

Schelle is now surprised by the number of responses after a call for a new owner was published. The collection’s current status has not been reported; he has said he hopes it will not end up being discarded.
