Criminals stole a large quantity of Novo Nordisk insulin pens from a wholesaler in the Netherlands. Reports differed on the number stolen, describing it as ranging from hundreds to thousands of pens.

Novo Nordisk said the pens were worth hundreds of thousands of euros and could fetch millions on the black market. The stolen products included medicines intended for disposal.
