Two men aged 52 and 39 from Noordwijk stole tools and paint from Gamma stores in Beilen and Hoogezand on 15 April while police monitored them. Officers had followed a Mercedes from Nunspeet to Beilen and watched the thefts through security cameras without the men knowing.

The two men were sentenced to community service.
