The Weeknd’s tour reportedly grossed $1.3 billion

The Weeknd’s After Hours til Dawn Tour reportedly grossed $1.3 billion across 176 shows in 67 cities, 30 countries and five continents, making it the highest-grossing world tour by a male solo artist, according to promoter Live Nation. The tour began in July 2022 in Philadelphia and ended in Kuala Lumpur. It sold nine million tickets, including three sold-out shows at Amsterdam’s Johan Cruijff ArenA, and generated $500 million from 17 shows in Southeast Asia this year.

The reported total surpassed Elton John’s approximately $939 million from his Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour. It remained below the approximately $2 billion attributed to Taylor Swift’s tour and the $1.5 billion generated by Coldplay between 2022 and 2025. Live Nation also said that $8.5 million would be donated to charities focused on education and poverty reduction.
