◆1 source
A podcast examined the history of the Juliet gang, a group of criminal associates from Breda that reportedly made millions through drug trafficking and became known for kidnapping, holding hostage and robbing other criminals. The gang was described as a feared debt-collection agency of the Dutch underworld and was said to have exerted influence for years. Police dismantled the group in 1996. The account also covered the case of an officer who was alleged to have lied, and described the gang as having operated like “a state within the State.”
