The 110th men's Giro d'Italia is set to start on 8 May in the Italian-Slovenian border region. It will begin in Trieste, with the second stage running from Ljubljana to Koper in Slovenia before the race returns to Italy for the third stage. The race is due to finish in Rome on 30 May for the fifth consecutive year.
