A new tourist tax of €2.50 per night is set to apply in Teylingen, causing dissatisfaction among hotel and campsite owners. Hotel Van der Valk in Sassenheim fears it will have to pay the tax itself for rooms already booked for next year and has asked the municipality for transitional arrangements, but the municipality has refused.
