Norway’s government announced plans for a temporary ban on AI glasses in certain public and crowded places. The government said it was concerned that people could be filmed or photographed without their knowledge. Digitalisation Minister Torgeir Micaelsen said the temporary measure would allow time for research and for discussion that could underpin possible permanent rules. One report described the devices as ordinary-looking glasses with a built-in camera, microphone and AI assistant.
