The emergency reception for asylum seekers in a former school building on Waleweingaarde in Apeldoorn’s De Maten neighbourhood has closed. The municipality and the Central Agency for the Reception of Asylum Seekers (COA) made the decision jointly. The municipality retains the option of using the location as a permanent asylum reception facility in the longer term.
