Temperature fell below 15 degrees across the Netherlands

No weather station in the Netherlands recorded a temperature above 15 degrees, ending a run of 155 consecutive days on which somewhere in the country the temperature had reached at least 15 degrees. It was the first such day since 16 May, according to Weeronline.

Earlier in the meteorological autumn, the average temperature had been 15.6 degrees, compared with a normal 14.0 degrees. There had also been more sunshine and less rainfall than usual.
