Sven Kockelmann won the 18th Sonja Barend Award, which recognizes the best television interview of the past season. He received the prize for his interview with outgoing Prime Minister Dick Schoof in a special episode of Café Kockelmann on NPO 2 for Omroep WNL.

The jury said the interview showed the emotional and melancholic person behind the prime minister.
