A white Mercedes-Benz SUV caught fire at a petrol station on Singel 1940-1945 in Oss during the night from Wednesday to Thursday. Firefighters from Oss and Berghem found the front of the vehicle, near the engine, ablaze and could not save it. The vehicle was severely damaged and the road surface was also damaged.

Police found nobody in or near the SUV when emergency services arrived. Bystanders said it had been parked at the station for some time; one report said it had been there for several weeks. Police suspect arson and are investigating.
