Police have temporarily stopped searching for Wojciech Slomiany, a Polish man who disappeared near Zeewolde after arriving in the Netherlands for work in 2017. He was 41 when he went missing, and no one has heard from him since 13 October 2017.

A third search of a wooded area between Groenewoudseweg and Flediteweg, following searches in November 2025 and March 2026, found no trace of him. Police said further searches will be considered only if new information emerges.
