A court in Den Bosch ruled, in a case brought by agricultural organisations ZLTO and POV, that Noord-Brabant may not enforce parts of its rules requiring older stables to reduce ammonia and nitrogen emissions until 1 February 2027. Farmers therefore cannot for now be compelled to make major investments to comply with those parts of the policy.
