The support parent initiative, which has operated in the municipality of Teylingen for five years, is being extended to Lisse and Hillegom. Support Parent HLT connects volunteers with vulnerable families experiencing severe pressure, including families coping with a sick child. Volunteers can care for a child for part of one day a week, giving parents time to rest and allowing the child to spend time in a safe environment.
