A 91-year-old woman was injured after a car struck her in the parking lot of the Nettrama supermarket on Burgemeester Van Wielstraat in Waalwijk on Thursday afternoon. She suffered a head injury and was taken to hospital by ambulance.

Before hitting the woman, the same driver had grazed a parked car and waited with its owner to deal with the damage. Police measurements found that the driver was not under the influence of alcohol or drugs, and the exact cause of the collision remains under investigation.
