North Holland, together with South Holland and Zeeland, wants to investigate what the relatively high concentration of PFAS in the coastal strip means for drinking water extraction in the area. The Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management and several drinking water companies are also participating in the study, according to the provincial government in response to questions from the Party for the Animals in the provincial council.
