A primary school in Almere reportedly sent a girl away last year, not because of her own actions but because of her mother’s conduct. The mother had filed a complaint against the girls and later sought to have her daughter return to the school, taking the school board to the Council of State.

She withdrew her appeal shortly before the verdict was due, so the Council of State will not issue a ruling.
