ProRail incident-response team leader Emiel warned parents after stones were found on the railway near Helmondseweg, between Deurne and Helmond. He said children appeared to have placed the stones there and called on parents to discuss where their children play.

He said the stones can damage the track and create a safety risk. It was unclear whether the railway had been damaged; trains were scheduled to run on Sunday morning.
