Stevie Wonder filed a lawsuit against Carmen Efferson, who has lived rent-free in one of his homes since 1988. Reports said Wonder and Efferson were formerly engaged, and one report said she had worked on the video for Wonder and Michael Jackson’s song “Get It.”

One report said the lawsuit followed Efferson’s alleged refusal to allow Wonder’s representatives into the house for an inspection needed to extend deposit insurance.
