Stef van der Hoek, 50, reportedly collapsed shortly before he was due to tile his daughter Kayleigh’s garden. He lay motionless with his eyes open and did not respond, after which Kayleigh, 23, and her boyfriend immediately began CPR. Months later, Stef was working full-time again.

Kayleigh and Stef said they wanted more people to know what to do when someone’s heart suddenly stops.
