Staged surgery for women at increased ovarian cancer risk

Women with an increased risk of ovarian cancer no longer need to have their fallopian tubes and ovaries removed at the same time, according to the account. The fallopian tubes can first be removed on their own, with the ovaries removed later. This causes fewer temporary symptoms and is probably just as safe.
